Howdy! I ran across your site on a homeschooling mom's blogring I think. I was wondering if you have tried your new software, we have been thinking about trying something like that out. My husband and I love to dabble with photography a bit, and play with a really simple program right now. So just wondering what you think of it. Your pictures are beautiful by the way.
@marsharae - I glad you stopped by! It's nice to meet you! I do love my Photoshop Elements! I use it all the time but I'm really excited to start playing with Lightroom! I've heard so many great things about it and love what I'm see from those using it! I can't wait to run over to your blog and see some of your work.
I haven't posted to much lately other than from our trip to New Orleans, most of the other stuff is just snapping a pic here and there for my kids to remember things we have seen around our home. The latest one was through the safety of a window in the kitchen for fear that a raccoon may attack. LOL
when you are all famous - don't forget us little people. . Can't wait to see what you come up with. I am so proud to call you my friend, and I think you have so much talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We still need to do a 'hot' photo shoot by the water. (tell Todd no more excuses, the test is over). I drove by yesterday and it looked ok over there.
@CurrySparks - Sounds great! I think I'll just kidnap him for the "hot" shoot! That way he can't back out! lol!
Hey - I came across your site through another xanga site I read and she was bragging up some of your techniques. I dabble in photography and recently got a nice camera and I am trying to learn all the ins and outs of it all. I am planning on buying Photoshop Elements. I used regular Photoshop at work and through my schooling so I am trying to get used to the differences. I don't know much about the lightroom program so I am excited to glean much knowledge from your blog.
@CurrySparks - btw, did you know that you are an amazing photographer?? I was just looking at that picture of Angie and her daughter again the other day and I love it! The editing is sooooooo emotive!! Anyway, I love you dearly and can't thank-you enough for all you've done and continue to do for me like all the time! Thanks a million for my amazing gift!! (Yeah, and there's no way I could forget you anyway 'cuz you're like the rock star of incredible persons! {{{hugs}}} )
